Piers Morgan thinks an interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would ‘break all TV viewing records’ (Picture: AP/REX)
Piers Morgan has revealed who he’s been dying to interview and it may come as a surprise to learn that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry top his list.
The uncensored presenter is renowned for being one of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s biggest critics, never shy from criticizing the couple for their claims about the royal family.
It is well known that Piers, 57, had a friendship with Meghan, 41, when she was an actress on Suits, and met her for a drink in London the same week she went on her first date with Harry, 38.
However, their friendship soured soon after and Piers made it his mission to call the royal couple at every turn.
So it may come as a shock that the TV presenter wants nothing more than to sit down with Meghan and Harry and air their grievances once and for all.
“I would be good enough to train Meghan and Harry to be good people again,” he told Spencer Matthews on his Big Fish podcast.

The broadcaster continued, “If you could swing it, I would love to do an interview with both of them actually. No restrictions, live interview, me one-on-one with Meghan and Harry.
“It would break all television viewing records in history and I would have a few additional questions that would go a little deeper than the current questions. »
Piers was then asked who his dream interview would be and he noted that it would be Queen Elizabeth II before her death in September. He then noted how “lucky” he had been to interview public figures such as Nelson Mandela, the Dalai Lama and various US Presidents and British Prime Ministers.
“I’ve been very lucky, all the biggest stars in the world, there aren’t many left,” he said.

He then admitted: “I think the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be great for them and for me. I think it would be one of those mind meetings where we could get rid of our chest and move on.
Piers left ITV’s Good Morning Britain in March 2021 after receiving a record number of complaints from Ofcom for saying he did not believe Meghan’s various explosive comments in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
