The Stolen Movie Prop Ben Affleck Was Made To Pay For

Although he didn’t have the best time on set (to put it lightly), Ben Affleck still wanted some “Justice League” memorabilia, which ended up costing him dearly. The father-of-three revealed all on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in 2017, “confessing to having pretty stick fingers”. “There were other things that fell off the truck, like the Batarangs and all that,” Affleck confessed, after telling Stephen Colbert he unfortunately couldn’t get the famous Batmobile home. “I kept getting these phone calls from the prop department, like, ‘Are you sure you haven’t found any of that stuff yet? he added, confirming that he stole a few props from set before joking, “You can” It’s not exactly stealing if you got charged, which happened to me at the end. Warner Bros. just sent me a check. Turns out Batarangs aren’t cheap! »

In case you’re not familiar, a Batarang is a boomerang shaped like Batman’s iconic logo – and it’s not too surprising that the props department couldn’t let Affleck grab one for free. Batarangs are clearly very valuable, as there is one listed on Celebrity Authentics signed by Affleck that has an asking price of $959.99.

Not that paying for a few accessories would have been too much for this star, of course. Affleck has a staggering net worth of $150 million.
