Miss USA contestants face pressure to maintain an impeccable image. Tara Conner, who received the title of Miss USA in 2006, suffered a backlash after failing to maintain that perfect image. According to People, Conner was at risk of losing her title after it was revealed she used drugs and drank while underage. Miss USA 2006 finalist Tamiko Nash would have taken over the title from Conner had it been determined that she was no longer eligible.
