Save the date: We Love Green returns on June 2, 3 and 4, 2023!

The Parisian festival, which traditionally takes place in the Bois de Vincennes, has just unveiled its 2022 aftermovie and announced the dates for its next edition.

We Love Green is doing it again. The Parisian festival established in the Bois de Vincennes is meeting on June 2, 3 and 4 to celebrate its eleventh edition. While waiting for the first names, the organizers of the event release the aftermovie summarizing the festivities that took place last June.

2022 marked the great return of festivals after two years turned upside down by the health crisis. For its part, We Love Green, which we told you about here, invited key figures from the national and international scene such as Gorillaz, Phoenix, Clara Luciani, SCH, Juliette Armanet, Angèle or even PNL and a slew of emerging artists like Shygirl and Slowthai, while giving pride of place to the electro scene with Moderat, Floating Points, Bicep and Disclosure.

Unfortunately, the festival was forced to cancel its second day of concerts (Saturday June 4, with Clara Luciani, Laylow and Phoenix in particular as headliners) following a phenomenal storm which ravaged part of the site.

Review of the year 2022

However, a press release indicates that 100,000 festival-goers came to grooover in the Bois de Vincennes and summarizes the actions taken to make the event greener. In this review, there are more than 30 stakeholders on the Think Thank stage for debates and round tables around ecology, but also more ecological stages such as the Canopée, powered by a fuel cell and a gasoline engine. French green hydrogen.

The organization also specifies its projects for 2023: the purchase of a forest plot of 17 hectares in the Landes for “replant this territory with a multi-species forest in collaboration with specialists”, which we will hear about soon. Case to follow!
