Phoenix, EggS, La Femme, Juliette Armanet and Gorillaz… are in the playlist of the week

Also with Gwendoline, Rob & Jack Lahana and Catastrophe, Wet Leg, En Attendant Ana and Pearl & The Oyster.

We begin this month of November with the highly anticipated arrival ofAlpha Zululatest album by phoenixwhich definitely remains The Only One. This magical title contains everything we love about the Versailles quartet, after the sparkling single Alpha Zulu which accompanied the group’s return to the stage this summer. New single for Juliet Armanet which continues to enrich the reissue of Burn the fire novelties as well as Gorillaz which creates the surprise by swinging discreetly baby queentaken from his forthcoming album Cracker Island.

We also find Rainy Miller, MorMor, Daniel Avery or Wet Leg, who had fun translating his now cult lounge chair in the language of Molière, and it’s gratifying: the female duo will be at the Elysée Montmartre on Wednesday 9 November.

The titles of the week spread the word to get us moving: Wife whisper of the lyrics of its title contaminated which, as its name suggests, spreads its Hispanic rhythms like poison, Gwendoline offers us a heady title that makes you want to take our headphones and ride a monowheel to make the revolution, Waiting for Ana we stroll through Montreuil in sportswear on Principle and Rob, Jack Lahana and Catastrophe turn heads with spinning tops.

A little throwback with a languorous version of wordsby The Operatora nod to One More Time Daft Punk with Circo Loco from the new duo Drake & 21 Savage and a new single for Noel Gallagher’ High Flying Birds.

Also on the program: the new signature of Cracki Records, Edouard Biellewho sings of his break with class in a melancholy pop straight out of the seventies, a first album for Almost Whoa new single from Pearl & the Oyster and the highly anticipated release of the debut album byEggS of which we listen to one of the twelve nuggets, Old Fashion Virtue.
