For the first edition of the Gravel World Championships (passages on the road, but also on paths, tracks and paths), many cyclists will be there on Sunday in Vicenza (Italy). Mathieu van der Poel, headliner of this race will be at the start two weeks after his arrest due to an altercation with young people, a few hours before the Worlds of road racing.

Slovak Peter Sagan (32) will also be there, as will Gianni Vermeersch, Davide Ballerini, Zdenek Stybar and Magnus Cort. Cyclists will have 194 km to cover.
Among the women, the French Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will also participate in the first World Championships in the history of gravel.
