Lomepal continues its quest for meaning in the distressing “50°”

The song appears on “Mauvais Ordre”, the third album by the iconic French rapper released last September.

Since 2018, Lomepal had disappeared from the radar, leaving the shadow of a stifling doubt hanging over the rapper propelled to the peak of success with these first two records, FLIP released in 2017, and Jeannine appeared the following year. Four years later, Antoine Valentinelli (for those close to him) is back in force with Wrong Ordera third effort where an obscure anxiety always lurks as in 50°implicitly mixing a quest for catastrophic meaning and inevitable global warming.

To intimately celebrate the release of Wrong Order, Lomepal organized a ghost tour. The principle ? Be on the lookout for any information on the Internet to find out the place, date and time of the concert which took place, each time, in a small venue like La Boule Noire in Paris, Ubu in Rennes or even La Cave aux Poètes in Roubaix and Le Ferrailleur in Nantes. On September 17, the day after the album’s release, the rapper posted a photo of La Boule Noire at 8 p.m. on his social networks. He had also left a review on Google stating that he had “I really want to play in this room all of a sudden without warning”.
