After two fiery Zéniths de Paris, the singer demonstrates once again in the clip for “La Flamme” that she excels in alternating between ardor and sensuality.
The reissue of his second album Burn fire 2 was equipped with five unreleased titles among which The flameto which Juliette Armanet now offers an ultra dancing clip, which she unveiled this Wednesday, November 30.
Directed by Scotty Simper (notably at the helm of the vertiginous clip of Slide by Sopico), the video begins with a wide shot of her languid body, held back by ropes that slowly lower her above the flames, for the time of the choirs that open the title. Faithful to the duality that characterizes her, the sensuality that dominates at the start of the clip gives way to the funk and disco ardor that we know her and that inhabits her on stage: she momentarily swaps the usual sequins for leather and adorns the single with a less demure veil.
In the Instagram post who unveils the clip, Juliette Armanet explains: “What an incredible shoot…! Suspended 20 meters high in the air at dawn then embarked for this fiery dance with a troop of human flames! It was physical, it was epic, it was unforgettable!”
As she told us in the end-of-year best of Inrockswhich she covers with Adèle Exarchopoulos, Alice Diop and Louis Garrel, the singer has evolved: “With the tour my body came into play.” The clip of The flamea title that she inhabits with her voice as with her presence, confirms this once again.
