After a very successful first edition in 2023, the Inrocks Super Club are returning to La Boule Noire on February 8 with the groups Annabel Lee, Ada Oda and Hoorsees.
They bear the same name as the title of the last poem by American Edgar Allan Poe, published in 1849. Founded in 2016, the indie rock band Annabel Lee released their first album Let The Kid Go March 20, 2020. Since then, the people of Brussels have dragged their love for garage rock and pop from stage to stage, notably at the Dour festival in 2020. They are returning to launch hostilities with the Inrocks Super Club on Wednesday 8 February.
The year 2020 has seen the birth of musical projects in abundance, of which Ada Oda is a part. The young Belgian duo is made up of singer Victoria Barracato and César Laloux, a former member of BRNS and the group The Tellers. It is in the darkness of La Boule Noire that they will present their album Un Amore Debolereleased in 2022. On the program: a perfect mix of pop-rock and post punk, all with a vintage feel and lyrics in Italian.
The four Parisian rockers of the group Hoorsees will shake the ground at La Boule Noire with their explosive pop punk. After a first eponymous album finalized in 2019 but released in 2021 due to the various confinements, the group, composed of Alex on vocals, Zoé on bass, Thomas on guitar and Nicolas on drums, unveiled a second album in 2022. very successful. A Superior Athlete reflects the sparkling quartet’s 1990s American and English rock influences.
