France team: Paul Pogba forfeits the World Cup

There will be no miracles. 10 days before the announcement of the players who will compete in the World Cup for the France team (November 9), Paul Pogba has confirmed his package for the World Cup, from Italian sources, after new examinations which revealed an injury to a thigh.

The midfielder was hit in training with Juventus. Muscle overload, according to the Turin club, linked to the increase in its workload during the sessions. This injury comes after his right knee operation, which has kept him sidelined since the start of the season.

Kanté and Pogba package, a decimated environment

It’s a new blow for the France team and its midfielder since N’Golo Kanté (hamstrings) is also forfeited for the Qatari meeting. The Blues will try to defend their title from November 22 (8 p.m.) against Australia before challenging Denmark on November 26 (5 p.m.) then Tunisia on the 30th (4 p.m.).
