East Celine Dion go back to Las Vegas? A new report claims the Canadian hitmaker is eyeing a May start date for the residency she was forced to postpone to 2021.
Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the Theater at Resorts World is gearing up to welcome Celine to its stage this spring, saying they are keeping their schedule that month.
Nothing is fixed for the moment. Celine has yet to confirm or deny the information.
Celine canceled her previous residency at Resorts World in November 2021 due to “severe and persistent muscle spasms.” She then announced in a video statement that she had to postpone her European tour from 2022 to 2023.
The rescheduled dates will take place between February and April next year. Celine will then take a brief respite before resuming the trek in August and performing until October. Fans believed she intended to hold her rescheduled Vegas residency between May and July.
It should be noted that Celine will be making her acting debut in May, co-starring in love one more time next to Priyanka Chopra and Sam Hueghan.
At this time, there has been no official statement regarding the potential residency.
