Camp Claude returns with “Everynight”, his new heady single

Three years after their last album, the trio led by Diane Sagnier unveils its new title with the addictive chorus “Everynight”, heralding an album scheduled for early 2023.

With their sound cut out for all universes, we have seen them set foot in the world of fashion, acclaimed to play live for Hermès, or to illustrate the latest Versace ad with their cult Swimming Lessons. The formation, made up of Franco-American Diane Sagnier, Swede Leo Hellden and Briton Michael Giffts, is relaunching the machine and announcing a third album to come. They unveil the first extract, Everynightthis Thursday, November 24.

The title contains all the markers of their success: the bewitching voice, at times scratched, of Diane Sagnier, the sound of synths mixed with guitars which composes a clearly addictive chorus. To the alternations of sung chorus and spoken verse, is added the gimmick chanted by Michael Giffts, whose timbre joins the lyrics: “It’s all about the honey now”.

Announcement for us

After Swimming Lessonsreleased in 2016 then Double Dreaming in 2019 (which added a rock tone to their pop electro which allowed them to assert themselves even more on stage), they respect the three-year gestation period which has hitherto succeeded and announce their next album for the beginning of 2023 It would nevertheless be a mistake to believe that the members of the trio remained inactive: while Michael Giffts and Leo Hellden reunited with the group Tristesse Contemporaine for the album United released in October, Diane Sagnier is multiplying projects on all sides. Photographer and videographer, the musician is at the helm of the title clip Paris from Bad Pelicans and will also be on stage at FGO Barbara as part of the Here Tomorrow Festival with his solo project: Born Warm.
