Andrea Laszlo De Simone announces the release of a box set with her father

On the occasion of the holidays, the singer and composer from Turin unveils a limited edition box set, consisting of a 45 rpm and a book of photographs taken by his father Luciano De Simone. Available for pre-order, it will be released in early January 2023.

Two years after the release of his EP, the fabulous Immensita, Andrea Laszlo De Simone returns to help us start the winter. He announces the release of a box set consisting of a 45 rpm and a book of photographs by his father Luciano De Simone. On the vinyl, we can listen again I Nostri Giornireleased in September 2022, a bitter ode to existence, as well as livethe title released in the midst of a pandemic, for which he had created an interactive website, which made it possible, from webcam images broadcast live from different places, to virtually travel around the world, to the sound of Italy radiant with the sixties.

To buckle the buckle

In addition to these two singles, the box will contain a book of photographs, taken by the father of the singer Luciano De Simone, dating back to about forty years and collected for the occasion. Andrea Laszlo De Simone, author of the superb Dal Giorno In Cui Sei Nato You, inspired by the birth of his son, comes full circle by linking his art to that of his father. As he explains on his Instagram account:

I would have liked to write a million words to explain why my father and I did this and why we did it together, and I would have liked to tell you the precious meaning that this project had for us, but I will limit myself to tell you that it was me and my father who never stopped playing.

I can’t wait to find out what meaning it will have for you.

I wish you a Merry Christmas… and never stop playing.”

The box is available for pre-order here.
