Dutch-Turkish psychedelic folk-rock band Altin Gün, formed in 2016, announce the release of their fourth album, “Aşk”, scheduled for March 10, 2023.
After the release of their last album yol in 2021, what could be better for the members of the Dutch-Turkish group Altin Gün than to unveil a colourful, psychedelic and travel-friendly title to announce the release of their fourth album, Askscheduled for March 10, 2023?
The single Rakıya Su Katamam, accompanied by an animated clip in which naked women dance through different landscapes, on the beach, in the forest, on a bridge and even in imaginary worlds, is tinged with warm, oriental and traditional Turkish sounds. These dances are totally contagious. Listening to this title, our bodies want to express themselves in the same way as these women and just dance without ever stopping.
Back to the psyche years
“We took a very traditional approach to recording a rock album, like in the 1970s. In this case, that didn’t just mean having six musicians in a room with a few microphones. It’s also about the hardware we use, tapes and everything else”, confide the members of the group. The album, which promises to be brilliant, will be followed by two Parisian dates at the Trianon on March 15 and 16 as well as a Lyon date on March 18 at the Transbordeur.
