Adam Siao Him Fa third at the end of the short program of the Grand Prix de France

Adam Siao Him Fa is third after the short program of the Grand Prix de France, which took place on Friday in Angers. The French skater, who now trains in Nice with Cédric Tour, only did a double toe-loop – triple toe-loop combination instead of the planned quadruple toe-loop – triple toe-loop. The 8th of the 2022 Worlds obtained the best artistic score and a total of 88 pts.

Third behind the Japanese Sota Yamamoto (92.42 pts) and Kazuki Tomono (89.46 pts), Siao Him Fa can hope for a comeback after the free program, which will take place on Saturday from 5 p.m. A Grand Prix podium would be a first for the 21-year-old skater. The two other Frenchmen, Luc Economides (77.23 pts) and Landry Le May (60.87 pts) rank respectively 6th and 12th provisionally.

In ice dancing, the experienced Italians Charlène Guignard-Marco Fabbri took the lead after the rhythmic dance (83.52 pts), ahead of the Canadians Laurence Fournier-Beaudry – Nikolaj Soerensen (82.38 pts). The French Evgenia Lopareva-Geoffrey Brissaud take a very good 3rd place with 73.17 pts ahead of their compatriots Loicia Demougeot and Théo Le Mercier (70.76 pts).
